The Compliance Officer will manage the compliance activities for the Bank, and have responsibility for managing the Compliance Program to ensure the Bank is functioning in a manner that is consistent with legal and regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of new laws, rules, products, technologies and applications, and assesses implication for departments. Develop compliance policy and guidelines; Provide support to departments; Engages in resolution of issues and concerns; And implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the Division's annual operating plan.
A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field normally required. Specialized compliance training, and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) is preferred.
Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; Proficient interpersonal relations, communicative, and teaching skills; Strong analytical skills; Thorough understanding of compliance management; Comprehensive knowledge of applicable banking regulations; and possess a valid driver's license.
A minimum of seven (7) years experience in compliance laws/regulations is required..
This is a full time opportunity. The viable candidate must be available to work extended hours as needed, and be available to travel to other Bank locations as needed.
