Description:
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing Teller duties, as well as Customer Service Representative duties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to processing various types of customer transactions; preparing and maintaining records; responding to inquires and/or requests for information; cross-selling bank services/products; balancing each day’s transactions and verifying cash totals; opening & processing new accounts of all types; performing various clerical duties and other duties that may be assigned or directed.
Experience & Education:
The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three (3) years experience in related banking and/or sales position; Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills, moderate typing skills; moderate computer skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; selling and cross selling skills; a comprehensive knowledge of all bank forms and documents used in opening new accounts; a working knowledge of bank consumer products and services; and the ability to lift items weighing up to fifty (50) lbs.
Hours:
This is a full time opportunity and averages 38 to 40 hours per week. The position is “floating” therefore the candidate will be scheduled at varying locations within the Northern Region (Carlisle, Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill). Additionally, the candidate must be available to work any hours between 8am to 6pm Monday - Friday, and 8am to noon on Saturday's.
