Located at the Chambersburg, PA Operations Center, the Administrative Assistant will have responsibility for performing a variety of clerical duties, which supports the Credit Administration Department functions, as well as providing administrative support to the Chief Credit Officer.
1) Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties for the Chief Credit Officer, to include, but not limited to:
a) Prepares letters, correspondence, reports, memos, and other relevant papers and/or documents
b) Assembles data as necessary to answer correspondence; Composes and prepares letters, memos, etc.
c) File documents, forms, reports, etc
d) Receives and responds to telephone calls for Chief Credit Officer and members of the Credit Administration department as necessary.
e) Arranges and coordinates special meetings and luncheons as directed
f) Schedules appointments for the Chief Credit Officer and other members of the Credit Administration department as necessary.
2) Manage special projects as assigned by the Chief Credit Officer, which may include monitoring projects, working on projects, and ensuring final completion.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; A college degree is preferred.
Excellent mathematical, communicative and writing skills; Excellent computer skills, to include proficient word processing and spreadsheet abilities; Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team; Strong problem solving and decision making ability required; High level of attention to detail; Ability to be a self starter and work autonomously.
A minimum of two (2) years applicable Administrative Assistant experience is required; Relative experience as an Administrative Assistant overseeing a department is preferred, but not required.
