Interbank Transfers

Interbank Transfers are available 24-hours a day.

With Orrstown Bank's Interbank Transfer Service, you can transfer funds between your accounts at Orrstown Bank and your accounts at any other financial institution. This free service is available for our personal banking customers.  It is easy to use when and where it's most convenient for you.

Follow these easy instructions to enroll for this service.


Simply log in to bank@home and click on the ‘Email Us’ option in the upper right hand of your main screen. Create a new message and in the subject box type ‘Interbank Transfers’. In the body of the email, type ‘Sign me up’. Click on Submit. This will allow our Internet Banking Specialists to set up this great service within your bank@home settings. After 1-2 business days you should be able to view the Interbank Transfer option from your main screen.

Once you select the Interbank Transfer option, the enrollment process will require you to agree to our Interbank Transfer Agreement. You will then be allowed to add new accounts from other financial institutions. In order to do so you will need the routing number and account number of your non-Orrstown bank account. The system will display a picture of where you can locate these numbers on your checks.

Enter the routing and account numbers and click submit. A small credit will be issued to that account (at the other financial institution). You will need to retrieve the credit amount from your account at the other institution, log back into bank@home, and enter it on the screen as shown below to complete the verification process. You will have up to 5 days to complete the verification process.

Upon entering the test credit amount in the “Verification Amount” field and clicking submit, you will then be able to use the enrolled accounts to transfer funds.

You will be able to make up to 3 incoming and 3 outbound transfers a day. While there is no limit on the dollar amount for incoming transfers, you may only do 3 outgoing transfers for a combined total of $5,000 a day.
