Shippensburg, PA (June 25, 2010) – Orrstown Bank is pleased to announce that they have made Central Penn Business Journal’s fourteenth annual list of the Top Fifty Fastest Growing Companies in Central Pennsylvania. Orrstown Bank’s ranking on the list will be revealed at an awards breakfast in September.

Eligible companies must have revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending 2007, 2008 and 2009; must show revenue growth in 2009, as compared to 2007 (a three-year period); companies must be headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York county; and companies must be for-profit entities.

The Central Penn Business Journal website describes the award: “This prestigious event honors Central Pennsylvania's most dynamic for-profit businesses and their contributions to the growth and success of our region. Qualifying companies are ranked according to their revenue growth (both dollar and percentage increases) over a consecutive three-year period. The final list of fifty companies are featured in a supplement to the Central Penn Business Journal and are honored at an awards breakfast. The Top Fifty Fastest growing Companies program provides a great opportunity to get a close-up look at the businesses shaping the future of our local economy.”
