Strong communities are built through meaningful relationships. That's why Orrstown Bank supports local organizations, community initiatives, and volunteer efforts that help strengthen the communities we serve.

The Orrstown Women’s Network (OWN) was proud to partner with York Habitat for Humanity during Women Build Week, an initiative that brings women together to support affordable housing while developing new skills, building confidence, and making a lasting impact in the community.

OWN is dedicated to connecting, inspiring, and empowering women through leadership development, networking, mentorship,
and community involvement. By participating in opportunities like Women Build Week, members can build meaningful relationships, grow professionally, and contribute to the communities we serve.

As part of FOX43's coverage of Women Build Week, Casara Kieffer, SVP, Treasury Management Officer and member of the Orrstown Women’s Network, shared her experience:

"I think it's great for us to get outside the office, which is also very male dominated, being in banking. And it just gives us the opportunity to work with our hands and do something that's not sitting at a desk in a very clean environment."

At Orrstown Bank, community involvement is about more than giving back. It's about building lasting partnerships that help strengthen the places we live and work. Through our partnership with Harbel Community Organization, Team Orrstown joined volunteers in support of Harbel's Food Pantry Distribution Program, helping provide food and resources to individuals and families throughout Baltimore City.

Employees assisted with distributing fresh produce, loading vehicles, and delivering food directly to elderly and home-bound residents. The program also extends its impact by supporting local churches and schools that help address food insecurity across the community.

Working alongside Harbel gave our team the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting an organization dedicated to serving neighbors in need. Together, we remain committed to creating positive change and strengthening the communities we proudly serve.
